Kate Bush

Mais uma das minhas cantoras preferidas (sim, eu sei, são às dezenas).
Estreou-se nas lides da música com 19 aninhos e com aquela que é, ainda hoje passados mais 30 anos, a sua canção mais conhecida: "Whutering Heigths" inspirado no livro com o mesmo titulo escrito por Emily Bronte que nasceu no mesmo dia que Kate Bush, 30 de Julho (mas com alguns - bastantes anos de diferença).
O single atingiu o primeiro lugar do top britânico onde ficou por quatro semanas e tornou-a a primeira interprete feminina no Reino Unido a atingir o 1º lugar do top com uma canção escrita pela própria.

Ao longo dos seus mais de trinta anos de carreira e apesar de ter composto mais de 200 músicas, Kate Bush lançou apenas 8 álbuns de originais:
